The Red Shop Rag (Click to Read the Story)

Everyone’s always saying you gata market yourself, hand out business cards everywhere you go yada yada yada. I’m not a business man and I’m certainly not a business card type of guy. I don’t want to do business with people. I want to freeze a memory, create one, make art with our interests and skills that got us talking in the first place.

From that came the idea of getting my name out there in a way that says who I am and what I’m interested in. I’m a car, bike, old school, film guy that wants to take pictures of you cool old stuff. Since it’s old your probably going to have to work on it. Thats were the Red Shop Rag came from. What says car or motorcycle guy more than a shop rag hangin out of your back pocket.

My goal is to spread the word that Local Creative is more than a photographer, but the guy that appreciates the history and hard work that goes into keeping these old family heirlooms on the road. I have memories of driving with my dad in our Ford Maverick to get ice cream in the summer and if I could have that car with me today I would share those memories and moments with my kids. We are who we are because of those moments and if I can give you a shop rag to remember me but more importantly wipe your greasy hands off and get your family out for a ride than I hope we meet again and freeze one of those memories in a photograph.
